Its spring and its early this year. The azaleas were just beginning to bud and now 2 days later they are bursting out! I'm going to have to get out there and paint them again! Time is fleeting. The flowers are here, then they are gone in what seems like a day.

When you paint outdoors anything may be your subject. I painted this 1930's car at a big antique car gathering at Par Sem Day up in Parsonsfield, Maine. It was a rush! I'd never drawn or painted cars before.

Its rare if I paint a still life. But that may change. I enjoy doing them, its just that the last time I moved I gave away all my interesting objects. And I do love painting glass ! It might be my favorite still life subject.
